J and I were pretty excited to pick up these horse and ram skulls for our collection on a recent trip. I'm glad that we both have an affinity for surrounding ourselves with natural items. I'm not insensitive to the origin of these remnants - unfortunately I am not aware of how they were originally procured, but my interest is in the beauty and intricacy of the biology of these once living beings. I guess you could say we have odd taste in decor... Aren't they fascinating though?!
We have a collection of skulls, turtle carapaces, and feathers! Eventually we will get them displayed correctly but currently they are mostly sitting in boxes waiting to be unpacked.

Misti, that's awesome! We have some cat skulls (mostly finds from road kill, RIP) that are in bell jars. The horse is now on our mantel and looks great!
